How to Play

Unlike other electronic games you may have played, INVOKE is not a simulation. It is real. And by ‘real’ we mean ‘on the internet’.

With INVOKE’s revolutionary* Alternate Reality Game (ARG) mechanics, this game will test your playing abilities to their limit. We suggest that you carefully study the INVOKE Strategy Guide before you enter the world of INVOKE.

INVOKE: Strategy guide

INVOKE takes place over 10 weeks – in real time! Each week INVOKE HQ (“this website”) will reveal a new game mission. Each game mission will comprise a new and exciting social problem for the INVOKE network (“you”) to solve.

To play:

1) Click on the button at the top of the MISSION post labelled Leave a comment.

2) Making sure that a keyboard is connected to your computer, type your solution to world hunger/poverty/AIDS/environmental apocalypse in the space provided. (Bear in mind that your solutions must be viable business propositions in order to be valid.)

3) Click on the button labelled Submit comment.

Be sure to follow these steps in the order in which they appear above to ensure that your idea is registered.

At the end of the game the INVOKE game masters will assess players’ performance and reveal the winning idea that we believe will change the world for the better. It could be yours!
